WOW!

I am still in shock at the fact that in just 2-3ish months, I will be in another country. Honestly, I am so overwhelmed by the love and the support of sweet ol' Meeker. Everyone I talk to asks me how my fundraising is going and telling me that they are praying. Man.. I am just so blessed. For a while, when i first decided to go, I was more excited about the person I would become after the trip. Like, once I went i would somehow be stronger than I am now. But, over the course of this week, I am becoming more excited to see what HE will do DURING the trip. I read something by Sadie Robertson that really struck me today. She talked about how people always asked her to speak about self confidence, but she never read anywhere in the Bible that we are told to have confidence in ourselves. WOW! I LOVE this reminder. True confidence that can overcome any obstacle or fear, is thru Christ and Christ alone. I am a tool. A vessel if you will, that belongs to the Lord. Anything I think, say and do, should only be to glorify Him. Without Him, I am nothing, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
